Memorial for Rebecca Housley will be held from 1:00pm to 3:00pm Friday, May 13, 2022, at New Life Revival Center, 744 Smith St West Monroe, LA. Burial will immediately follow at Rosefield Baptist Church Cemetery 352, Hwy 124 Rosefield, LA.<br><br>Rebecca “Becky” Jane Lewis Housley, 76, of West Monroe, LA passed peacefully from this life surrounded by her loving family on May 10, 2022. Becky was born on January 10, 1946, in Columbia, LA. to W. C. & Nell Chapman Lewis. She graduated from Caldwell High School and went on to beauty school where she worked as a beautician for 45 years. <br><br>Becky’s greatest love was singing, and she was well known for her spot-on impersonation of Roy Orbison. She spent many years on stage singing throughout Louisiana and even went to Nashville and cut her own record. <br><br>She had a contagious laugh and wonderful smile and will be missed by everyone who ever knew her.<br>Becky was preceded in death by her husband A.C. Housley, her parents, W. C. & Nell Chapman Lewis, her sister, Trena Alvarez, and her poodle, Sugar Bear.<br><br>Left to cherish her memory are her children: Jay Lewis, Robbie Lewis, Cheri Nash, and Melani Holdiness (Kenneth), two brothers, Wally Lewis (Linda) & Ivan Lewis (Judy), 13 grandchildren, and 21 great-grandchildren.<br><br><br><br><br><br><br><br>January 10, 1946 - May 10, 202201/10/194605/10/2022
