It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of Marcel Gibeault on Tuesday May 10th, 2022, at Maison McCulloch Hospice after his courageous battle with cancer at the age of 66. <br>Dear son of Henri Gibeault (predeceased) & Rita Gibeault. Loving father of Natalie Dignard (Charles), Eric Gibeault, Melanie McKibbon (Joshua). Cherished pepere to Jeremy, Brianna, Alissa, Reese & Nicholas. Dear Brother to David (predeceased), Denis (Lucy) both (predeceased), Raymond (predeceased), Fernand, Robert (Leona) & Suzanne (Raymond Lariviere).<br>Will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends, especially his beloved sidekick Kia. <br>Marcel retired from Xstrata (Glencore) in June 2010 after 31 years working as a skimmer operator at the smelter in Falconbridge. Marcel was a hardworking wonderful individual with a heart of Gold always willing to help others, especially his family. A Jack of all trades. <br>The family would like to offer special thanks to the staff in Oncology, Radiology and Emergency Departments at Health Sciences North, The staff at Maison McCulloch Hospice. The Nurses from Bayshore Home Health, with an extra special thank you to Donna. <br>Relatives and friends are invited to join the family in celebrating and remembering the life of Marcel on Saturday May 14th, 2022, at 11am at Notre Dame de la Merci Church in Coniston, followed by a luncheon in the church basement. (Friends may gather at the church after 10:30am Saturday). No funeral home visitation. In lieu of flowers, donations in Marcel’s memory can be made to Pet Save or Maison McCulloch Hospice.
