Doris Firestone (nee Quinn), 84, of Brick passed away peacefully at her home on May 10, 2022. Formerly from Roselle, NJ, Doris moved to Brick in 1967 where she was a communicant of St. Dominic’s Parish for the last 55 years. She worked as the Senior Cook at Brick Memorial High School, retiring in 1998. Doris enjoyed reading, cooking, entertaining, and talking to anyone & everyone she met.

Predeceased by her husband, Raymond Firestone along with her brother and sister-in-law, James and Marilyn, Doris is survived by her daughters Dianne Cosgrove and her husband William, Debra Firestone, son-in-law Artt Stueber, grandchildren Traci-Lea, Nadine, April, Jacob and Perri, 12 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. Also surviving is her brother, Robert and his wife Jean, along with extended family and friends.

Inurnment of Cremated Remains will be held on Tuesday, May 17, 2022 at 12 noon at Ocean County Memorial Park, 1722 Silverton Road, Toms River, NJ 08753. Cremation was private and under the direction of Riggs Funeral Home, Forked River. In lieu of flowers, donations in Doris’ memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
