Courtland L. "Cork" Creager

Mr. Courtland L. “Cork” Creager, 70, of Waynesboro, PA, passed away Tuesday, May 10, 2022. Born August 3, 1951 in Waynesboro, he was the son of the late John Robert and Viola Louise (Houck) Creager. Cork was a graduate of Fairfield High School with the Class of 1969 and was a longtime employee of D.L. George & Sons. A jack of all trades, Cork could fix most anything. He spent numerous hours working on race cars for the Boyle Brothers and Van May. Cork enjoyed the companionship of many a dog as well as a good horse and loved to spend time in the saddle. Cork leaves behind one sister, Linda K. Unger of Waynesboro; niece, Heather Stumbaugh (Scott) of Waynesboro; nephew, Adam W. Unger (Suzy) of State College; great-nieces, Madalyn and Lily; and great-nephew, Grayson. Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: Antietam Humane Society, 8513 Lyons Road, Waynesboro, PA 17268. Arrangements are by Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home, Waynesboro.
