Patricia McQueen Obituary

Miss Patricia Anne McQueen of Red Springs, North Carolina passed away on May 6, 2022. She was born in Salisbury, North Carolina on January 15, 1964, and was a lifelong resident of Red Springs.

A celebration of life will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, May 14 at Red Springs Presbyterian Church. Visitation of family and friends will be after the graveside service at Alloway Cemetery in Red Springs.

Miss McQueen is survived by her brother Ralph Lipscomb (Mac) McQueen Jr., and wife, Susan, and their children: Cameron McQueen and wife Erin, Lauren McQueen and Tatum McQueen, all of Charlotte.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Anne McQueen of Red Springs.

Miss McQueen was a graduate of Brevard College. She worked as a teacher’s assistant in the Robeson County School System and was an active member in the Red Springs Presbyterian Church.

Miss McQueen will be remembered for her genuine heart and kindness to others. She loved her community and her church. She was a loyal Tarheel fan, and her allegiance never wavered. She loved her family and avidly followed their activities. Her constant faith and giving heart were always present and she will be remembered as one who always put others first. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Red Springs Presbyterian Church and to Southeastern Health Foundation, PO Box 1408, Lumberton, North Carolina 28359.
