Ronald C. Levesque

Dateline-Palm Bay, FL. Ronald Clayton Levesque, 79, passed away unexpectedly May 3, 2022 at his home in Palm Bay, FL after a period of declining health. He was born in Exeter, NH on November 2, 1942, the son of the late Romeo E. Levesque Sr. and Bessie (McFarland) Levesque. Ron grew up in Raymond, NH and served in the United States Navy from 1963 – 1967 as a Radioman Second Class. He was employed for 23 years by Prudential Insurance Company of America before retiring as Regional Sales Manager. In his younger days, Ron attended Raymond High School and was very active in athletics, including the Soccer, Basketball and Baseball teams. Ron also worked at various jobs in Raymond including Lumbertown, Regis Tannery, the local shoe factory, and the A&P Grocery Store. Ron was a member of the volunteer ambulance and fire department in Raymond and was a 32nd Degree Mason of the Scottish Rite and longtime member of Tucker Lodge #99 F&AM in Raymond, NH. He was the charter secretary for the Raymond Lions Club, and a member of the Elks Lodge in Rochester, NH, the Moose Club in Merritt Island, FL, and the Barbershop Harmony Society. He was also a member of the Life Underwriting Counsel Fellowship (LUTC-F). Other places Ron has resided include Bennington and Burlington, VT, Sanford, ME, and Somersworth, Laconia, Dover, and Keene, NH, before moving to Palm Bay, FL in 2012. He is survived by his wife Katherine B. (Welch) Levesque; 5 children, Jason Kurt Berry Levesque, Bethanne Levesque Pierce and husband Buddy, Sarah Louise Levesque Wallace and husband Kenneth, Amie Marie Levesque Lortie and husband Denis, and Timothy Ronald Levesque and wife Andrea; 10 grandchildren, Alexander Clayton, Cheryl Lynn, & Karyn Elizabeth, Alexis Michelle, Brittany Elizabeth, Cameren Robert, Errin Marie, and Faith Payton, and Naysa Elizabeth and Oliver Chase; 4 step children, Mae Elizabeth Hogan, Brian Andrew Hogan, Matthew Luke Hogan and wife Tiffany, and Bridget Marie Hogan; step granddaughter, Hailey, and his sister Karen Grace Levesque Bernier and husband Ernie. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his older brother Romeo E. Levesque Jr. and his wife Norah. Services: Hand Sanitizer and Masks are recommended but not required. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, May 11, 2022 from 2:00-4:00 & 6:00-8:00 PM at the Brewitt Funeral Home, 9 Pleasant St., Epping, NH 03042. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 12, 2022 at 10:00 AM at the Raymond United Methodist Church, 51 Main St., Raymond, NH 03077. Burial with military honor will follow in New Pine Grove Cemetery, Raymond, NH 03077. Refreshments will follow the graveside service. Location to be determined and announced at the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in honor of Ronald C. Levesque to American Cancer Society.
