<p>Richard Wayne Bolton, 89, passed away on May 4, 2022 at Immanuel Lutheran Home in Kalispell. Richard was born to Michael and Ivy Mae (Paull) Bolton on June 19, 1932 in Butte, Montana.<br /> <br /> Richard proudly served in the United States Marine Corps for 26 years, retiring as a Captain. He served in the Korean and Vietnam Wars. After serving in the Marines Richard owned a paint store before retiring back to his beloved Montana. Some of Richard&rsquo;s passions in life was fishing trout in our fresh water rivers and streams. He loved camping, woodworking, and working in his yard.<br /> <br /> Richard is preceded in death by his wife Carole Bolton. He is survived by his sons Mark Bolton of Kalispell, Gary Bolton, and Scott Bolton.<br /> <br /> A graveside inurnment with military honors for Richard Wayne Bolton will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 16, 2022 at C.E. Conrad Memorial Cemetery 641 Conrad Drive, Kalispell, MT 59901. Austin Funeral &amp; Cremation Services in Whitefish is caring for the family.</p>

Obituary

Richard Wayne Bolton, 89, passed away on May 4, 2022 at Immanuel Lutheran Home in Kalispell. Richard was born to Michael and Ivy Mae (Paull) Bolton on June 19, 1932 in Butte, Montana.

Richard proudly served in the United States Marine Corps for 26 years, retiring as a Captain. He served in the Korean and Vietnam Wars. After serving in the Marines Richard owned a paint store before retiring back to his beloved Montana. Some of Richard’s passions in life was fishing trout in our fresh water rivers and streams. He loved camping, woodworking, and working in his yard.

Richard is preceded in death by his wife Carole Bolton. He is survived by his sons Mark Bolton of Kalispell, Gary Bolton, and Scott Bolton.

A graveside inurnment with military honors for Richard Wayne Bolton will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 16, 2022 at C.E. Conrad Memorial Cemetery 641 Conrad Drive, Kalispell, MT 59901. Austin Funeral & Cremation Services in Whitefish is caring for the family.
