Omar Fernando Medina was born on September 9, 1994 in El Paso, TX.  His first years he was living with his parents in Ciudad Juárez, Mexico. Omar is survived by his parents Virginia Rita and Fernando Medina, step-father Jeff Rita;  grand parents Juan Villegas and Manuela Ordonez and a large family of uncles, cousins and numerous friends.
At six years old he relocated to Tampa, FL where he grew up and went to school. Omar was in his 1st year of college studying Computer Science and working at the Hard Rock Casino as a cashier; where his coworker's describe him as a polite, nice and fun guy. He was the only son of Virginia Rita and Lorenzo Fernando Medina. At the age of fifteen, Omar was raised and guided by his step father Jeff Rita.  Mr. Rita, who is a serving pastor at several retirement homes in Tampa, Florida. Omar learned about God and received Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. Omar was a very healthy, fun, strong, happy and very loved son. Omar departed suddenly from a brain aneurysm on May 3, 2022 . If you were to speak to any of Omar's friends, his friends would say if you where sad you want to be with him because he knew how to make you smile. He will be missed dearly.

Rest in the arms of the Lord dear Omar until we see you again.
