Mary A. Thompson Obituary

Mary A. Thompson, 88, of Hamilton, passed away on Tuesday, May 3, 2022, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in Hamilton, NJ. Born in Trenton, Mary was a lifelong resident and attended Trenton Central High School. She was employed with Atlantic Products for many years as an inspector and supervisor until her retirement. Mary surrendered her life to Jesus Christ at the age of 79 and strengthened her Christian walk through prayer, scripture reading and faithfully watching worship services online at Faith Baptist Church led by Pastor Lance Walker and Pastor David Crompton. Mary adored her family and had a special place in her heart for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved phone calls, surprise visits, and sharing in their lives through photos, videos and FaceTime moments. Mary always looked forward to family gatherings, holiday celebrations, and invitations to outings that included meals at any one of her favorite eateries. Over the years, Mary became the adopted “Gram” to many friends of her children and her grandchildren through Facebook on her iPad. Mary is predeceased by her parents, Vincenzo and Mary DeBlasio; her husband, Fred A. Thompson, Jr., her brothers, Louis DeBlasio, Vincenzo DeBlasio, and Dominic DeBlasio. Mary is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Debra and Charles Miskolcy of Toms River, NJ and Joanne E. and Dave Kling of Succasunna, NJ; her son and daughter-in-law, Frederick A. III and Rosemary of Hamilton, NJ; her five grandchildren, Vincent Krisak and his wife, Angela, of Atco, NJ, Timothy Krisak and his wife, Ashley, of Little Egg Harbor, NJ, Corinne Austin and her husband, Dan, of Succasunna, NJ, Peter Thompson and his fiancée, Danielle, and Patrick Thompson and his wife, Sally, all of Alexandria, VA; her five great-grandchildren, Cheyenne, Sienna, and Antonina Krisak, and Remi and Maverick Austin; her two precious great-grandchildren waiting to be born; her two brothers, Pasquale DeBlasio, Gennaro DeBlasio and sister-in-law, Rose Marie DeBlasio; along with her many nieces and nephews. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, May 11, 2022, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Saul Colonial Home, 3795 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square, NJ. A Church Service will be held on Wednesday, May 11, 2022, at 12:00 p.m. at Faith Baptist Church, 2111 Kuser Road, Hamilton, NJ 08690. Interment will follow at Brigadier General William C.
