Francis J. Dadura

Francis J. Dadura, 93, formerly of Mercerville, passed away on Sunday, May 1, 2022, at his home in Palmetto, Florida. Born in Philadelphia, PA, Frank was a lifelong area resident before moving to Florida in 2008. He was an honorably discharged veteran of the U.S. Army who attained the rank of Sergeant First Class during his service from 1948 to 1954. Frank was a recipient of the National Defense Medal, Good Conduct Medal, Army of One Medal, and the Korean Service Medal with 3 Bronze Stars. Upon returning home from the war, he began his employment with the Naval Turbine in Ewing where he was an Electrical Technician for over 30 years until his retirement in 1987. Over the years, Frank was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council #6213 of Hamilton and enjoyed deep sea fishing and travelling with his wife. He was an avid investor who always watched the stock market and the financial channels for enjoyment. Predeceased by his wife of 49 years, Frances M. Dadura; he is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Thomas J. and Sharon L. Dadura of Columbus, NJ; and his two granddaughters, Alanna and Rob Fecanin of Columbus, NJ and Marissa Dadura of Hillsville, VA. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, May 10, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows-St. Anthony Parish, Our Lady of Sorrows Church, 3816 East State Street Extension, Hamilton, NJ 08619. Entombment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery and Mausoleum, Hamilton, NJ. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday, May 9, 2022, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Saul Colonial Home, 3795 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square, NJ.
