David J. Bright

<p>David J. Bright, 79, of Ringtown, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 30th, 2022 surrounded by his loving family at St Luke’s Hospital, Orwigsburg.</p> <p>Born in Shenandoah on February 8th, 1943, he was the son of the late David and Veronica (Bann) Bright.</p> <p>He attended Shenandoah schools and was a graduate of Stevens Trade School.&nbsp; David worked as a truck driver for Pagnotti, and also worked at MM&amp;G and other manufacturing facilities.&nbsp; David loved the outdoors, whether it be hunting, fishing, or archery.&nbsp; He was a former member of the Buckfeather Rod &amp; Gun Club, a former member of the Park Crest Fish &amp; Game Club, a former member of the Shenandoah Archery Club, and a member of the International Bench Rest Shooters.&nbsp; Besides his love of the outdoors, he loved his family, especially spending time with his grandchildren.</p> <p>David is survived by his wife of 50 years, Patricia (Pukavige) Bright, his two sons, David Bright with his wife Amy – Hummelstown and Thomas Bright with his wife Sheree – Auburn.&nbsp; Two daughters, Gloria Adamski with her husband Donald – Catawissa, and Sandra Bright – Ringtown.&nbsp; 5 granddaughters, Brooke Adamski, Bethany Adamski, Ashley Bright, Grace Bright, and Allie Bright, and 2 step-grandsons, Jason Woolf and Ryan Woolf.</p> <p>A visitation for family and friends will take place on Wednesday, May 4th from 8 to 10am at Oravitz Home for Funerals Inc, 40 N. Jardin St, Shenandoah.&nbsp; Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:30am in Divine Mercy Parish – Sacred Worship Site – St. Casimir’s, 229 N. Jardin St, Shenandoah with Msgr. David J. Bright, 79, of Ringtown, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 30th, 2022 surrounded by his loving family at St Luke’s Hospital, Orwigsburg.

Born in Shenandoah on February 8th, 1943, he was the son of the late David and Veronica (Bann) Bright.
