Memorial services for Renee Sandra Morgan, 64, of Onaka, SD, will be 11:00am, Tuesday, May 3, 2022 at Richland Church, Mina, SD, with Pastor Jason Dignan officiating. Renee died Wednesday, April 27, 2022. Renee Sandra Snow was born in Gettysburg, SD to Veman T. and Rose (Gabriel) Snow. She grew up on a farm, attended elementary school in Onaka, and graduated from Cresbard High School in 1976. She furthered her education at Mt. Marty College in Yankton, SD and later Clover Park Technical College in Lakewood, Washington for Web Design. In 1976, Renee married Del Kleffman. Together they had three children: Calvin, Dawn, and Kyle. After the family moved to Washington, Renee married Richard Morgan April 9, 1992, Fort Lewis, WA. Together, they had two children, Lewus and Alex. Renee held various jobs in her lifetime at grocery stores, retail stores, and the cheese factory. Her favorite was working as a Nurse’s Aide at Westwood Nursing Home in Roscoe, SD. Renee and family moved back to South Dakota in 2003 and has made it her home since. Renee enjoyed gardening, baking, playing games, fellowship and drinking tea. She was also artistic and created many beautiful paintings and sketches. Renee was a hardworking person. She was also helpful and giving. Family was very important to her and keeping and creating new traditions was important to her. Her wonderful sense of humor will be missed. Grateful for having shared Renee’s life are her husband, Richard Morgan; children: Calvin Kleffman, Dawn (Jeremiah) Anderson, Kyle Kleffman, Lewus (Allison) Morgan, Alex Morgan, and Tiffany (Morgan) Johnson; grandchildren: Tarynn, Rylee, Holly, Kirsten, Cash, Verity, Brianna, Noah, Boston, Emily, Sophie, River, Lewus, Lauryn and Connor; siblings: Vern (Elaine) Snow, Dixie Allbee, Diane Grismer, Kurt (Gail) Snow, Gary Snow, Darold Snow, David (Darla) Snow, Colette (Troy) Nieman, and Lori (Kevin) Kaiser. Preceding Renee in death are her parents Veman and Rose Snow; brother, Ronnie Snow; and brothers-in-law, Harley Allbee and John Grismer. www.spitzerfuneralhome.com

I always loved visiting with Renee about Onaka (both of our home town) while she was working at the Westwood Assisted Living Center in Roscoe. She was such a kind, gentle, caring person. The world was a better place with her in it. Prayers!!

My sister-in-law Renee was one of the kindest, most compassionate people I have ever known. She went out of her way to help others. It was just her nature. I wish there weren't so many miles between us, as I truly want to be in South Dakota to honor her at her service ... Continue Reading
