Saveria Galazzo, 95 formerly of Sleepy Hollow, Elmsford and Hopewell Jct., N.Y. died on April 27,2022. She was born on April 11,1927 to the late Gatano and Concetta (nee Firullo) Palazzolo in Scicli, Ragusa, Sicily. She worked for many years at the Tarrytown Hilton. Saveria was predeceased by her beloved husband, Vincenzo Galazzo in 2003 and also predeceased by her two sisters, Carmelina Trovato and Guglielmina Dionisi and is survived by her loving children, Joanne (Robert) Gaglione of Pawling, N.Y., Salvatore (Liz) Galazzo of Danbury, CT and Victor (Christine) Galazzo of Hopewell Jct., N.Y. one sister, Angela (Maurizio) Baglioni of Rome, Italy. Also survived by her six cherished grandchildren, Angela (Ron) Hunter, Michael Gaglione, Joseph (Carri-Anne) Gaglione, Kristina (Walter) Romano, Kevin (Erika) Galazzo and Angela (Yan) Soriano and ten great grandchildren. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Monday, May 2,2022 from 8:30-10:30 AM. Funeral Mass, Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Elmsford, N.Y. at 11 AM. Interment to follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery, Greenburgh, N.Y.
