Wendell G Keene

Wendell G. Keene, age 87, of Marion, Illinois passed away on Monday April 25, 2022 at 3:30 pm at his residence. Wendell was born in Harrisburg, Illinois on December 02, 1934 to the Late William H. and Elsie M. Winn Keene. He was a veteran and had worked at IYC, Catapillar, and the Job Corps. Wendell is survived by his brother and sister in law Jack and Mildred Keene of Carrier Mills, Illiniois and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, 4 brothers and 2 sisters. Cremation rites have been accorded and burial of will be in the Sunset Garden Cemetery in Harrisburg at a later date. Absher-Nicholson Funeral Home in Carrier Mills is serving the family.
