Ernst Botzke West Kelowna, British Columbia Obituary

Ernie Botzke

Ernst "Ernie" Botzke passed away peacefully at Kelowna General Hospital April 24, 2022. Ernie was a loving and devoted husband, uncle, brother and a great friend to many. He loved his garden, reading (especially old westerns), kicking butt at billiards, and playing skat on his computer. Ernie inspired all who knew him with his tenacity, strength and can-do attitude. His ability to relay stories from his past as a young boy in Germany with such detail, passion, humour and, sometimes sadness will be forever cherished. Ernie would wish to give thanks to the doctors and nurses at Kelowna General Hospital for their compassion and care in his final week. Also, special thanks to Don and his staff from Knight's Pharmacy in Penticton for going above and beyond for Ernie. Arrangements are in the care of Everden Rust Funeral Services, West Kelowna Arrangement Centre (250-768-8925). Condolences may be sent to the family by visiting www.everdenrust.com.
