William Csonka, Jr., 72, passed away unexpectedly on April 24, 2022.
Bill was born in Frankfurt, Germany on November 8, 1949 to the late William & Edna Csonka and was a graduate of East High School. Bill was a self-employed plumber and pipe fitter. He was a 32nd Degree Mason of the Scottish Rite. Bill was an avid hunter and fisherman and was a huge Cleveland Sports fan and an ever bigger fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes.
Bill is survived by his beloved wife of 23 years, Mary Ellen; his children Tonya (Buddy) Halchak, Michelle Csonka, & William Csonka III; many grandchildren & great-grandchildren; siblings Judy (Jim Rassi) Totaro, Robert (Diane) Csonka, Christine Gossard, & Connie Csonka along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
The family will receive friends on Friday, April 29, from 5-7 pm at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. in Akron, where a rosary will be prayed at 7:00 pm.
