NORTH DIGHTON----Anne M. (O'Neill) Maling-Hammond, 82, of North Dighton, formerly of Easton, died Tuesday, July 5, 2011 at home, under the care of her family and hospice. She was the wife of Frank C. Hammond of North Dighton for 27 years.

Born in Manhattan, New York on March 17, 1929, a daughter of the
late James and Natalie (Joen) O'Neill, she was raised and educated in
Melrose, New York.

A devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, she
was a resident of Easton for 18 years. She moved to Rockland and
later lived in Orlando, FL. for several years until settling in North
Dighton.

She was a member of the Women's Catholic Sodality in Orlando, FL.
Anne enjoyed playing bingo, reading, crossword puzzles and movies.

In addition to her husband Frank, she is survived by two daughters,
Lynne Shaw of Ashby, and Denise Maling of Atlanta, GA; seven sons,
James Maling of Tiverton, RI., Keith Maling of Miami, FL., Ralph
Maling of Westwood, Chris Maling of Foxboro, Dr. Russell Maling MD
of Foxboro; Barry Maling of North Dighton and Glenn Maling of North
Dighton; two brothers, Larry Inzeo and Cece D'Alessio both of NY;
a close friend, Barbara Howard of Sagamore Beach; 18 grandchildren,
2 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was also the mother
of the late Wayne Maling, grandmother of the late Beth Maling-Kelly
and sister of the late Michael Inzeo, Charles Cooper, Richard O'Neill and
Walter O'Neill.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral
from Kane Funeral Home & Cremation Services 605 Washington
Street (Rte.138) Easton, on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. followed by a
funeral Mass in the Holy Cross Church, Easton, at 11:00 a.m.
Interment will follow in Furnace Village Cemetery, Easton. Visiting
hours on Friday from 4-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations in Anne's
