<p><span style="font-size:18px;"><strong>Sandra Kay (Eddy) Kadel, age 79, of Centennial, Colorado, formerly of Centerville, Iowa passed away Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at her home.</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:18px;"><strong>Sandra was born on March 11, 1943 in Centerville, Iowa, the daughter of Robert &ldquo;Bob&rdquo; Lincoln Eddy and Berta Lee (Knott) Eddy.&nbsp; She graduated from Centerville High School with the Class of 1960.&nbsp; On February 19, 1961, Sandra was united in marriage to the love of her life, Daniel Dean Kadel.&nbsp; To this union, four children were born, Tamera, Michael, Lisa, and Darrin.</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:18px;"><strong>When Dan joined the United States Air Force, Sandra was always there to support him.&nbsp; She enjoyed getting out of Centerville for the first time, seeing all the new attractions.&nbsp; The couple moved around the United States for his work, and never once did Sandra complain.&nbsp; For each state they moved, she always found work as a personal banker, with her most recent work at Wells Fargo.</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:18px;"><strong>In her free time, Sandra enjoyed collecting Hallmark Christmas Tree d&eacute;cor, Star Wars and Star Trek collectibles and anything else Hallmark.&nbsp; She was an amazing quilter and enjoyed sewing as well.&nbsp; One of her loves later in life was Volleyball. She enjoyed being an avid spectator, especially when her granddaughters play. Sandra was extremely proud of her family, and loved every moment spent with all of them.</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:18px;"><strong>Left to cherish Sandra&rsquo;s memory are her husband of over 61 years, Dan Kadel of Centennial, Colorado; her mother, Berta Lee Eddy of Exline, Iowa; her children, Michael B. Kadel of Cape Coral, Florida, Lisa (Jeff) Selby of Centennial, Colorado, and Darrin (Julianne) Kadel of Parker, Colorado; her son-in-law, Ralph Serrano of Mesa, Arizona; her sister, Rhonda (Rick) Raskie of Exline; a brother, Ronald (Lora Jones) Eddy of Moulton; an uncle, Kermit Knott of Seymour; brother-in-law, David (Kimberly) Kadel and their four children, grandchildren, Christopher Kadel of Fort Washington, Maryland, Taylor Kadel of Aurora, Colorado, Samantha, Amber, Kristina (Grimsley) Serrano of Phoenix, Arizona, and Rylie and Regan Kadel of Parker, Colorado; 7 great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family members.</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:18px;"><strong>Sandra was preceded in death by her father, Robert &ldquo;Bob&rdquo; Eddy; her daughter, Tamera Serrano; her sister-in-law, Cathie Eddy; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Floyd H. Kadel and Janet Esther Kadel; and her maternal and paternal grandparents.</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:18px;"><strong>Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM, Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at Lange Funeral Home and Crematory in Centerville with Pastor Jim Schweizer officiating.&nbsp; Burial will follow the service at Zoar Cemetery, near Exline, Iowa.&nbsp; Visitation will take place Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at Lange Funeral Home and Crematory in Centerville, with the family greeting friends from 10-11AM.&nbsp; In lieu of flowers, Memorials have been established to either Zoar Cemetery or American Cancer Society, and may be mailed to Lange Funeral Home and Crematory, ATTN: Kadel family, 1900 South 18th Street, Centerville, Iowa 52544.&nbsp; Condolences may be shared online at www.langefh.com or on our funeral home Facebook page.</strong></span></p>

I was Blessed to have beautiful memories of Mrs. Kadel. When she they came to visit Az , we got to share time with Tam's Parents, seeing stage plays, playing games , & sharing dinners with lots of laughs. She had a very sweet soul.
