<p><span style="font-size:16px;">Phyllis K. Holding, age 92, of Canton, passed away on Wednesday April 20, 2022 just 8 days shy of her 93rd birthday. She was born on April 28, 1929 in North Canton to the late Phillip and Emily (Fye) McDowell, graduated from Hoover High School and attended Ohio Wesleyan. She worked for Perry Local Schools as a Librarian. Phyllis was an active member of St. Timothy’s Episcopal Church. She was a past member of Junior League of Canton and Massillon Women’s Club. She loved to play bridge, actively playing in bridge clubs into her late 80’s. Phyllis enjoyed watching her grandchildren participate in their school activities and was an active Indians Fan.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:16px;">She was preceded in death by her husband Cyril Holding October 10, 2003. She is survived by her daughters Susan (Russell) Mills and Nancy (Larry) Hann; 7 grandchildren Melissa Mills, Jonathan Mills, Kathryn (Kevin) Miller, Kristen Hann, Kirby (Jay) Clutter, Kelly (Brandon) Warner, Kelsey (Brock) Gerber; 8 great-grandchildren Jordyn, Jake, Collins, Anderson, Rowan, Briggs, Quinn and Jack.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:16px;">The family is having a private service at North Lawn Cemetery.</span></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-size:16px;"> </span></p>Obituary
