Brandon James Sprang

<p>Brandon James Sprang, 46, of Wooster passed away on April 20, 2022 at Lifecare Hospice, Wooster after a two-year battle with cancer. Just like he dealt with all experiences in life, Brandon managed his illness with strength and courage, and wanted to spend as much time with his loved ones and close friends as possible. During his final days, he was surrounded by his family and close friends who gave him great strength in these last days.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>He was born on December 4, 1975, in Shelby, Ohio to Kenneth James of Lucas and Kathleen Sue (Niswander) Miller of Wooster.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Brandon attended K-6th&nbsp;at Lucas Elementary School prior to moving to Wooster. He was a 1994 graduate of Triway High School. He was employed by Schaeffler Luk for 20 years. He was an avid sports fan and loved all Cleveland teams, especially the Browns. In his high school years, he was a standout athlete in football, basketball, and baseball. Barth and Travis Snyder, Kirk Miller, Joe Walter and Buddy Barton, were some of the special teammates that he spent years with on and off the courts and fields and were with him until the end.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Brandon is survived by his parents Kenneth and Kathleen, his soul mate, Taryn McMichael of Wooster, three children who he loved deeply, Alexandria (Logan) Armstrong of Shreve, Miles Sprang and step-daughter Ashley (Jamie) Breneman all of Wooster; sister, Tamella (Thomas) Hart of Burbank, two half-sisters Zena Dabrowski and Hanah (Chad) Lambert both of Lucas; special nephews Trevor, Noah, Colton Hart and Walker, Duke Lambert; Maternal grandmother, Patricia (Thompson) Niswander of Lucas;&nbsp;Acacia, Kelci and Kaden Kauffman who were like children to him.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>He is preceded in death by paternal grandparents James and Ruth Sprang of Lucas, maternal grandfather Jerry Niswander of Lucas; special Auntie Gail Sprang of Lucas; brother Darin Sprang; and his step-father Brad Miller.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>The family wishes to thank his incredible team of Doctors at University Hospital, Seidman Cancer Center, Dr. Burkett and Dr. Lavertu for the amazing care provided to him. We also want to thank the LifeCare Hospice Team in Wooster for their caring professionalism and comforting compassion. Lastly, the never ending, devoted and loving daily care provided by Taryn, his beloved partner.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
