<p>EUNICE-&nbsp;It is with heavy hearts that the family of Yola Marie Johnson Belleau announces the passing of their beloved mother, grandmother and friend at the age of 72.&nbsp; A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 10:00 am on Wednesday, April 20, 2022, at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Eunice with Father Hampton Davis, Celebrant.</p> <p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Yola was a successful hairdresser for over 50 years. She enjoyed her grandchildren, friends, jewelry, and going to the casino. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Compassus Hospice and Michael Sonnier.</p> <p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Yola will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her especially her children, Brian Belleau and wife, Colleen of Swords, Leslie Trahan and husband, Brandon of Swords; grandchildren, Lane Goutierrez, Ty Joseph Belleau, Stella Marie Belleau, Caroline, Ethan, and Mylie Trahan; a very close and devoted friend who was like a family member, Margaret Darbonne; as well as extended family and friends.</p> <p>&nbsp;&nbsp; She is preceded in death by her mother, Wyda Mae Lafleur; father, Ivan Johnson; and maternal grandparents, Cleas and Stella Sittig Lafleur.</p> <p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoin&rsquo;s Funeral Home in Eunice on Tuesday, April 19th from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm and again on Wednesday, April 20th from 8:00 am until time of services. A Rosary will be prayed Tuesday evening at 7:00 pm led by Virginia Fontenot.</p> <p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Pallbearers include Brian Belleau, Brandon Trahan, Ethan Trahan, David Lafleur (Godchild), Andrew Pousson (Godchild), and Jody Miller.
