Keith Lynn Hunzeker

<section id="obit-text" class="obit-text"> <p><em>Keith Lynn Hunzeker of Ordway passed away on Saturday, March 26<sup>th</sup> in La Junta at the age of 75. Keith was born in Norfolk, Virginia to Marvin and Reba Hunzeker. Keith&rsquo;s father was in the Navy so they moved from station to station as he grew up. Keith went to high school and graduated in Annapolis, MD. Keith went to Otero Junior College and then to Adam State College where he went on to become a teacher where he taught psychology and drivers ed. Keith moved to Guam and taught there for a while. When he came back he moved to Garden City, KS where he met Barbara. They were married and moved to Longmont where Keith started working for the city in the water department. Keith enjoyed music and when his daughter was in the high school band he volunteered to drive the bus, even to a competition in Florida. He enjoyed his family and the get togethers they&rsquo;d have at his sister&rsquo;s house where her band would play. Keith was a member of Ordway Baptist Church and loved the youth camps.</em></p> <p><em>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Keith is survived by his wife of 44 years Barbara Hunzeker, 2 children: Glenn Hunzeker of Laurel, MD and Heidi Bartek of Thorton, 1 grandson: Justin Bartek, 2 sisters: Pam Adams of Florissant and Lori Case of Longmont.
