Jean Justice Cleveland, age 81, passed away Good Friday, April 15, 2022. She is survived by her devoted husband, William (Bill) Cleveland, of 61 years; her daughter, Donna (Ten) Ramby; Son, Michael (Krysta) Cleveland; Brother, Robert Justice; Grandchildren, Jennifer Barlow, Wesley Barlow, Matthew (Caitlyn) Cleveland, Joshua (Amanda) Cleveland, Micah (Whitney) Cleveland, Katie (Shea) Cleveland, Sarah Cleveland, and Abigail Cleveland; Great grandchildren, Elyas Cleveland and Vivian Cleveland; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were her parents, Marvin Justice and Marie Leonard Justice.

Jean was dedicated to caring for her family, and she loved the Lord with her whole heart. She enjoyed teaching about Jesus to children at Sunday School and Vacation Bible School. She taught several Women’s Bible Studies. Jean loved to sing. She was an outstanding cook! Her specialties include her grandmother’s pecan pie, coconut cream pie, and fried chicken.

Jean Justice was born in Fort Worth, Texas on October 22, 1940. She graduated from Tech High School where she was majorette. She studied Elementary Education at North Texas State University (NTSU). Jean and her best friend, Frances Blair Cleveland, met twin brothers at NTSU, they double dated, and later married Bill and John. Jean joked that when they first began dating, she couldn’t tell if she was holding Bill or John’s hand!

William (Bill) Cleveland and Jean married in January 1961. They raised their children, Donna and Michael, in Saginaw, Texas. Life was not always easy, however they always loved unconditionally and were loyal and devoted to each other until Jean passed.  It was an honor and a privilege to watch the way they demonstrated true, genuine love……holding hands, laughing, sharing stories, and remembering how they fell in love many years ago.  Jean was a True Texas woman, strong and loving.

A Celebration of Life at Azleland Cemetery & Memorial Park on Friday, April 22, 2022, beginning at 2:00 PM with Visitation starting prior at 1:00 PM.
