Jeffrey “Jeff” Herman, 63, of Charles City, passed away Thursday, April 14, 2022. A funeral service for Jeff will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at Gospel Lighthouse Church in Floyd with Pastor Paul Phillips officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the start of the service at the church. Jeffrey Wayne Herman, the son of Donald and Sharon (Dickhoff) Herman, was born on December 29, 1958 in Charles City. He was united in marriage to Hannah Orcutt on October 10, 2014. Jeff worked for a variety of places including Comprehensive Systems and most recently for Service Master. One of Jeff’s greatest passions was his band with his friends. Jeff was a very talented guitarist and loved to play the bass guitar. Living family members include his wife, Hannah; two sons, Elijah and Jameson; two daughters, Ashley Kloster and Brittany Haskins ; mother, Sharon Herman; and two sisters, Cindy Davidson and Debra Sanders. He was preceded in death by his father, Donald and two uncles, Harvey and Howard Herman. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
