Lois Elizabeth Keller
Lois E. Keller, 97, passed away April 5, 2022 in Belfast. Lois was born in Freedom Maine on July 8, 1924 to the late William and Elizabeth Thompson. <br><br>Lois was an active member of her community. She was involved with the Freedom Dirigo Grange, a member of St. Margaret’s Episcopal Church and The Order of Eastern Star. Lois was an educator who taught reading in RSU 3.<br><br>Predeceased by her parents and her husband, Merton Keller, Lois is survived by her sons, Richard Keller and his wife Patricia and Edward Keller and his girlfriend Deb Kennedy; her grandchildren, Amy, Lisa and Richard; her great grandchildren, Evelyn, Emmett, Isabelle and Rivvin, along with many nieces, nephews and friends. <br><br>Visiting hours are Tuesday April 19th from 5 to 7 pm at the Riposta Funeral Home, 182 Waldo Ave., Belfast ME. Funeral services will be Wednesday 11:30 am at the St. Margaret's Episcopal Church in Belfast.<br><br>Burial will take place in spring.
