Nancy Ten Cate

Nancy Harger Ten Cate, age 85, of Noblesville, passed away on Friday, April 8, 2022 in Noblesville.  She was born on March 1, 1937 to the late William and Isabelle (Haverstick) Harger in Noblesville, Indiana.

Nancy graduated from Noblesville High School in 1955 and Indiana University in 1959 with a degree in Elementary Education.  She taught school for many years in Noblesville, and later worked at Harger Farms with her father and brother as their bookkeeper.  Throughout her life, Nancy was an active member of Noblesville First United Methodist Church.  She was also a member of Delta Delta Delta Sorority at Indiana University, Tri Kappa, Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR), and Riverview Health Foundation.

Survivors include her children, Debra Ten Cate Ballard, Sarah Ten Cate, and John (Karen) Ten Cate, all of Noblesville; three grandchildren, Theodore and Wesley Ballard of Illinois and Joshua Ten Cate of Indiana.

Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, April 18, 2022 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan Street, in Noblesville.  Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at Noblesville First United Methodist Church, 2051 Monument Street in Noblesville.  Burial will be at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.
