HAIGHT, Virginia Ann (Kalenowski), age 86 of West Milford, passed away on Sunday, April 10, 2022. She was born in Orange, NJ to Peter and Stephanie (Yasko) Kalenowski. Virginia had been a resident of West Orange for many years, where she raised her family with her beloved husband Robert Joseph Haight, who predeceased her in 2008. She recently moved to the Chelsea at Bald Eagle in West Milford 4 years ago. Virginia was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Valley in Orange, NJ. Virginia lovingly poured all her love and guidance into raising her 2 children and the care of her home. Her greatest passion was for her family, and she cherished time spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. <br><br>Virginia was predeceased by her husband Robert in 2008. They cherished 52 years of loving and loyal marriage together. Loving mother to Michael Haight and to Diane Bateman and her husband Max. Adoring grandmother to Matthew and his wife Margo, Michele and her husband Jeff, Michael, Scott, and Amanda. Devoted great-grandmother to Joey, Myles, Juliana, and Macksen. Virginia was predeceased by her brothers Henry and Joseph Kalenowski, and by her sister Eleanor Morrissey.<br><br>Family and friends may visit on Wednesday, April 13, 2022, from 4-8 PM at the Vander Plaat-Vermeulen Memorial Home, 530 High Mountain Road, Franklin Lakes, NJ. Funeral to be held Thursday, April 14 at 11 AM at Our Lady of Perpetual Help RC Church, 25 Purdue Avenue, Oakland, NJ. <br><br>In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Virginia’s memory to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America, 322 8th Avenue, 16th Floor, New York, NY 10001
