Adams announces the passing of Mrs. Peggy Lee Jones White, 65, who transitioned on Monday, April 11, 2022 at Candler Hospital.

Adams announces funeral services for Mrs. Peggy Lee Jones White which will be held 12:00 PM, Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at First Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church 4370 ACL Blvd.

Viewing will be held 4 PM - 6 PM, Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at the funeral home.

Interment: Greenwich Cemetery.

 

Peggy L. Jones White was born on July 18th, 1956 to the late Leroy and Lillie Mae Jones.  

 

Brother David Jones preceded her in death.

 

She was educated in the Chatham County School System and was a graduate of Windsor High School.  She was employed with The State of Georgia for 16, years before her retirement.  Peggy was a social butterfly who never met a stranger.  She loved God, and adored her family.  She was extremely stylish, and always there to help anyone in need.  

 

She leaves to cherish her loving memories:  Devoted husband of 34 years, James White. 

 

Daughters:  Tamara (Byron) Mobley, Tomeka (Kevin) Toney, Tilishia (Noel) White. 

 

Stepdaughters:  Dawn White, Gemini White

Stepson:   James White III

 

Grandkids:  Chabree Mobley, Charmaine Mobley, Jabrae Sanders, Maddison Toney

 

Great Grandkids:  Paisley Holt, Kai’Ari Smalls
