<p>William Warren &ldquo;Sonny&rdquo; Walker, 89, passed away on Saturday, April 9, 2022.&nbsp; Private memorial services will be held at a later date.</p> <p>&nbsp;Sonny was a native of Greenwood where he lived most of his life until moving to Kingsport, TN and later to Madison, MS.&nbsp; He was a retired Cotton Factor and a U. S. Army veteran.&nbsp; Sonny was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish.&nbsp; He was a longtime member of Greenwood First Presbyterian Church.</p> <p>&nbsp;Survivors include: children, James &ldquo;Jim&rdquo; Walker (Polly) of Dover, AR, Laurie Bright (Roger) of Greenwood, Aubry Mohead (Billy) of Memphis, Jerry Elman of Jackson, and Billy Elman (Heather) of Madison; sister, Sara Ann Malone of Chattanooga, TN; grandchildren, Nathan Ragan, Blake Ragan, Justin Bright, and Gerrard Mohead; and great grandson, Julian Bright.</p>

Obituary

William Warren “Sonny” Walker, 89, passed away on Saturday, April 9, 2022.  Private memorial services will be held at a later date.

 Sonny was a native of Greenwood where he lived most of his life until moving to Kingsport, TN and later to Madison, MS.  He was a retired Cotton Factor and a U. S. Army veteran.  Sonny was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish.  He was a longtime member of Greenwood First Presbyterian Church.

 Survivors include: children, James “Jim” Walker (Polly) of Dover, AR, Laurie Bright (Roger) of Greenwood, Aubry Mohead (Billy) of Memphis, Jerry Elman of Jackson, and Billy Elman (Heather) of Madison; sister, Sara Ann Malone of Chattanooga, TN; grandchildren, Nathan Ragan, Blake Ragan, Justin Bright, and Gerrard Mohead; and great grandson, Julian Bright.
