<p>Charles Franklin Craig, 59, of Swannanoa, passed away April 3 at his home, surrounded by his family.&nbsp; Charles fought a brave battle with pancreatic cancer for over 10 months and is now united with his brother and parents.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br /> Charles was born on October 29, 1962 to the late Franklin Craig and Wilma Owenby Craig.&nbsp; He was also preceded in death by his identical twin, Clifton Craig.<br /> Surviving are his children, Brent Byas of Marion, Ashley Byas of Fairview, Jessica Hannah of Candler and Samantha Hannah of Mills River; sisters, Sandra (Jimmy) of Fairview, Angie (Don) of Fairview, Brenda (Keith) of Townville, SC; and grandchildren, Madison, Lindsey, Hanna, Mackenzie, Heavenly, Mason and Riley.&nbsp; Many cousins, who are loved greatly.<br /> The family would like to say a huge thank you to Aunt Pat Craig and Cousin Tammy Styles for opening their home and caring for Charles during his illness.&nbsp; He loved you greatly and we will always be grateful for you making his days better.<br /> There will be a memorial service on April 23, 2022 at 1:00 pm at Carolina Baptist Tabernacle with Pastor Lanny Cobb officiating.&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>

Obituary

Charles Franklin Craig, 59, of Swannanoa, passed away April 3 at his home, surrounded by his family.  Charles fought a brave battle with pancreatic cancer for over 10 months and is now united with his brother and parents.  
Charles was born on October 29, 1962 to the late Franklin Craig and Wilma Owenby Craig.  He was also preceded in death by his identical twin, Clifton Craig.
Surviving are his children, Brent Byas of Marion, Ashley Byas of Fairview, Jessica Hannah of Candler and Samantha Hannah of Mills River; sisters, Sandra (Jimmy) of Fairview, Angie (Don) of Fairview, Brenda (Keith) of Townville, SC; and grandchildren, Madison, Lindsey, Hanna, Mackenzie, Heavenly, Mason and Riley.  Many cousins, who are loved greatly.
