Peter James "Jim" Carr, age 78 of St. Paul

Passed away peacefully on April 7, 2022. He is survived by wife of 51 years, Deborah; children, Jeffrey (Maria) and Stephanie. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Genevieve. Jim grew up on the Iron Range and attended the University of Minnesota and earned an engineering degree. He spent his career at Univac and Guidant. He and Deborah enjoyed travel to Hawaii and Amsterdam, and in retirement, Jim built a house near Cumberland, Wisconsin. Jim was quiet but well-liked by all. Special thanks to the staff at Sunrise Senior Living who cared for Jim in his final years of living with dementia. Funeral service will be 11am Thursday, April 14 at ROSELAWN HISTORICAL CHAPEL, 803 Larpenteur Ave W, Roseville, with visitation one hour prior. Memorials preferred to Alzheimer's Association.
