<p>Billie White, 95, died at Madison County Nursing Home Madison, MS on March 31, 2022.&nbsp; She worked in collections business departments for Defenbaugh Finance and Grenada Lake Medical Center for many years where she was a respected employee and made many friends.&nbsp; She was the first born into a loving family of five brothers and three sisters where she spent her growing up years in Yell County, Arkansas.</p> <p>Ms White dedicated her life to caring for her family and rescuing and caring for animals.&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;She was a kind and loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.&nbsp; She had many talents, including cooking and needlework. She generously shared the beautiful items she was able to crochet or knit without the need for any patterns or instructions. Her pies were a favorite of family gatherings. She collected classic books at one of her favorite events, the annual book sale at Grenada Lake Medical Center. &nbsp;She read and discussed the novels of Faulkner, Hemmingway, Steinbeck and Grisham,&nbsp;and then passed the books on to family and friends.&nbsp;She provided care for hundreds of rescue animals over the years.</p> <p>She is preceded in death by her daughter Patricia Ann White Miller, parents Arley and Lucille Corbin, her brothers John Corbin, A.L. Corbin, Don Corbin, Jim Corbin, and sisters Jo Corbin Spears, Thelma Corbin Sullivant.</p> <p>She is survived by her son Robert Dale White, Jr. (Carole) of Madison, MS, daughter Betty White Crimm of Grenada, MS, grandchildren Leigh Brondum (Andy), Tina Blaylock (John), Diane Crimm, Colby Miller, Mandy Miller, Casey Myrick (Sharea), Deidre White (John), Corbin Bass (Spencer) and brother Bob Corbin (Claudia) and sister Mary Ann Corbin Moudy (Phil).&nbsp; Bill was affectionately known as Mimi to her grandchildren and Mama Bill to many nieces and nephews.</p> <p>Memorial donations to Mississippi Horse Rescue http://www.mississippihorses.org/donate-to-the-cause/ or mail Mississippi Horses 184 Twelve Oaks Rd Canton, MS 39046 or to the charity of your choice are appreciated.</p>
