<p><strong>Maria &ldquo;Lupita&rdquo; Sandoval</strong></p> <p><strong>February 9, 1932 &ndash; April 7, 2022&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</strong></p> <p><strong>Maria &ldquo;Lupita&rdquo; Sandoval, 90, of Bloomfield, went home to be with her heavenly father on Thursday, April 7, 2022. She was born February 9, 1932, in Blanco, NM to Manuel Madrid and Eufelia Loomis.</strong></p> <p><strong>Lupita retired as head cook for Bloomfield High School and loved running into former students who thanked her for the yummy homemade meals.</strong></p> <p><strong>Lupita loved spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren.&nbsp; Her favorite hobbies were cooking, reading, crocheting and knitting. She was always making m&amp;m cookies and biscochitos for grandkids and family.</strong></p> <p><strong>Lupita was preceded in death by her husband: Jose Victor Sandoval, her sons: Manuel and Donald Sandoval, her parents: Manuel and Eufelia Madrid, and her sister: Angie Gonzales.</strong></p> <p><strong>Lupita is survived by her children: Elizabeth Reinhardt (Carl) and Albert Sandoval: her grandchildren: Carl Reinhardt III (Betina), Daniel Reinhardt (Holly), Lisa Marie Reinhardt, Christian Sandoval, Little Victor Sam and great grandchildren: Collin, Danny, Mariska, and Matilda: her brother Sammy Madrid (Lorie), her sisters: Stella Gomez and Tina Culver, and numerous nieces, nephews, godchildren and cousins.</strong></p> <p><strong>Lupita lived a full life with a beautiful faith in God; she prayed and sang daily to the Lord for His many blessings and Lupita had a great devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary.&nbsp; Her greatest joy was having her family and friends around her. Thank you to all who visited and for the gifts of prayer, food, pictures, and memories. Your beautiful visits brought Lupita much joy and happiness.</strong></p> <p><strong>Thank you to all the doctors, nurses and staff for the wonderful care given to Lupita, and a special thank you to Basin Home Health Hospice especially to Tracy and Yvonne.</strong></p> <p><strong>The rosary, mass, and Christian burial will be celebrated at St. Mary&#39;s Catholic Church, 307 N. Church St., in Bloomfield, NM on Saturday, April 23, 2022,&nbsp; beginning with the rosary at 9:30am. The reception celebrating Lupita&rsquo;s life will be at the parish hall after interment at St. Mary&rsquo;s Catholic Cemetery.</strong></p> <p><strong>Lupita is in the care of Brewer Lee &amp; Larkin Funeral Home, 103 E. Maria “Lupita” Sandoval, 90, of Bloomfield, went home to be with her heavenly father on Thursday, April 7, 2022. She was born February 9, 1932, in Blanco, NM to Manuel Madrid and Eufelia Loomis.

Lupita retired as head cook for Bloomfield High School and loved running into former students who thanked her for the yummy homemade meals.

Lupita loved spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren.  Her favorite hobbies were cooking, reading, crocheting and knitting. She was always making m&m cookies and biscochitos for grandkids and family.
