<p>DeWolf, Betty</p> <p>Whitmore Lake, MI</p> <p> </p> <p>Her Legacy… Betty Newell DeWolf, 98, passed away April 6, 2022. She was born on July 7, 1923, in Detroit, Michigan to Clinton Berry and Pearl(Newell)Berry. Betty married Leslie DeWolf, on August 5, 1961, in Hamburg, Michigan. Betty was a woman who treasured words, she loved to read the dictionary, hymn books and write poetry. Quilting and knitting were her love language to people and she enjoyed making many handmade gifts for her family and friends. Betty belonged to the scrap-a-holics quilting group at the Hamburg Library. She was an avid reader of the Bible and a faithful servant to the Lord. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.</p> <p>Her Family… Betty will be missed by; her children, Nancy(Paul)Miller, Walter(Martha)Hayes, Thomas(Maryann)Hayes; grandson-in-law, Mike Lamberjack; grandchildren, Loy(Diane)Russom, Miles(Shannon), Sarah(Nicholas), Thomas(Sarah)Hayes, Adair Hayes, Timothy(Samantha)Hayes, Tavis Hayes; and multiple great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Leslie DeWolf; granddaughter, Tracy Lamberjack; sister, Jeanne Sharpe; and parents, Clinton and Pearl Berry.</p> <p>Her Farewell… Betty’s family and friends will gather Tuesday, April 12, 2022, from 11:00AM-1:00PM, at Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Hamburg Chapel in Hamburg, Michigan. Her Community Farewell will follow at 1:00PM. Pastor Jeff Burgess will serve as celebrant. Memorial contributions are suggested to Arbor Hospice or St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, Hamburg, MI.
