Evelyn Cox

Evelyn (Supriano) Cox, 93, of Tiverton, passed away Tuesday, April 5, 2022.  She was the wife of the late John F. Cox, Jr.  A member of the Class of 1946 B.M.C. Durfee High School, she was employed by Travis Furniture and Consolidated Thread.  Physically active in her early nineties, she enjoyed aerobics and “Drums Alive”. Her hobbies included reading and adult coloring books.

Most of all, she enjoyed being with family and friends.

She leaves three children, Catherine "Cathy" DeBlois (partner Les Haworth) of Tiverton, Nancy Ferreira (husband David) of Leland, NC and James Cox of Fall River; grandchildren, Amy Paull (husband David), Brian Ferreira, Jessica Goulet (husband Cory), Frank Ferreira (partner Vanessa Pavao), Samuel Cox and Abigail Cox; great-grandchildren, Kayla Mae Ferreira (husband John), Connor Paull, Macie Paull, Lillian Ouellette, Aubree Ferreira and Aiden and Mackenzie Goulet; a great-great-granddaughter, Selena Mae Ferreira.  She was the mother-in-law of the late Richard DeBlois and the daughter of the late Manuel and Belmira (Furtado) Supriano.

Visitation will be held Sunday, April 10, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So.Main St.Fall River.  Funeral Monday, April 11 at 9:00 AM from the funeral home with a Funeral Mass at St.Theresa Church, Tiverton, at 10:00 AM.
