Thompson, William 

 

Peacefully after a brief battle with cancer, William Thompson passed surrounded by his loving family.

Survived by his wife of 45 years, Isabel (Foster) Thompson, his daughter Krista Massey (Josh), grandsons Scott (Becky), Charles Massey and great grandsons Hudson and William Fielding.

Also survived by his siblings Edith (Don), Margaret (Winston), Marion (Dave), Dorothy (Tom), Jean (Willard), Helen (Randy), Stella, Stewart (Bev), and many nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by his parents Arthur and Catherine Thompson, his brothers James and Herbert, and his sisters Vera and Joyce.

Family to receive family and friends at Alan R. Barker Funeral Home, 19 McArthur Avenue, Carleton Place, on Friday April 8th, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM.

Funeral service to take place in the chapel at Alan R. Barker Funeral Home on Saturday, April 9th, at 1 PM with interment to follow at Pine Grove Cemetery.  

A reception at McDonald’s Corners Agricultural Senior’s Hall will be taking place after the interment.
