<p>Audrey Jean Campbell Brooks, 95, of Morristown, passed away Friday, April 1, 2022, at Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jack Brooks; parents, Horace and Gertrude Campbell; brothers, Ray, Paul, and Roy Campbell; sisters, Muriel Alger, and Mildred “Tootsie” Turnmire.</p> <p> </p> <p>She is survived by her sons, Scott Brooks of Morristown; Chuck (Donna) Brooks of Russellville; grandchildren, Kevin (Aisha) Brooks of Limestone; Jack and Claire Brooks of Monroe, NC; great-grandchildren, Natalie, Alyssa and Liam Brooks of Limestone; brother-in-law, Hugh Brooks of Greer, SC; special friend, Joanie Cody; as well as several nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.</p> <p> </p> <p>Audrey retired after 36 years of teaching school. She loved spending time with her family and friends, gardening, and making quilts. </p> <p> </p> <p>She was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses in 1960 and devoted much of her life to her faith. She will be dearly missed by everyone who knew her.</p> <p> </p> <p>The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 Wednesday, April 6, 2022, in the East Chapel of Allen Funeral Home.</p>Obituary
