<p><span style="font-size:14px;">Passed peacefully away at St. Clare&rsquo;s Mercy Hospital on Monday, April 4th, 2022, Margaret Wade, age 89 years. She was predeceased by parents; John and Catherine Wade, brothers; William, Walter and Richard, sisters- in- law Elizabeth Wade and Mary Wade, brothers-in-law; Basil Merner, Michael Davis and Robert Downey.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px;">Leaving to mourn with loving memories are her brothers; John and Raymond, sisters; Theresa Merner, Anna Marie Davis, Mary Hearn (Tom) and Marion Bonia (Allan), sisters-in-law; Helen Wade and Dorothy Wade. Also mourning is a special godchild Glenn Hearn, as well as many nieces and nephews.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px;">Margaret worked for 30 years as a LPN. She took great pride in the quality of care she offered to all her patients. She was an avid reader and loved an outdoor walk, always admiring the nature around her.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px;">The family extends special thanks to the Doctors and nurses on 6West St. Clare&rsquo;s Hospital for the exceptional care Margaret received while she was a patient. Special thanks to Fr. Brown who took time from his busy schedule to visit Margaret in her final days and to the home care workers who visited and cared for Margaret daily.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px;">At Margaret&rsquo;s request, cremation has taken place. Visitation will take place at Dunphy&rsquo;s Funeral Home, Holyrood on Thursday, April 7th from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. A celebration of Margaret&rsquo;s Life will take place following the visitation at Dunphy&rsquo;s Funeral Home Chapel. Interment to follow at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cemetery, Mount Carmel.&nbsp;</span></p> <p style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-size:18px;"><strong>For those unable to attend, the service will be livestreamed with the link available below.</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px;">In lieu of flowers, donations in Margaret&rsquo;s memory can be made to a charity of one&rsquo;s choice.&nbsp;</span></p>
