William Bill Eugene Davis

William 'Bill' Davis, 72, of Flemingsburg, passed away Saturday, January 14, 2017 at the University of Cincinnati Hospital. Born April 1, 1944 in Ewing, he was a son of the late L.O. And Mamie Hamilton Davis. Bill was a U.S. Army Veteran and a self-employed asphalt contractor. A member of the Franklin Sousley VFW Post #1834 in Flemingsburg, Bill was multi-talented...there wasn't anything he couldn't do. Bill loved to fish but most of all, his passion was restoring old cars. He is survived by: his wife, Carolyn Davis of Flemingsburg; a daughter, Julie (J.T.) Rawlings of Ringos Mills; a son, Todd Davis (Kristine Logan) of Flemingsburg; a granddaughter, Hailee Brooke Davis of Louisville; four brothers; four sisters; and numerous nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother and three sisters. Services will be private at the families convenience. No visitation is planned.
