<p>Lorretta J. Hunker, 84, of Rayland, OH, passed away, Thursday, March 31, 2022, at WVU Ruby Hospital, in Morgantown, WV.</p> <p>Lorretta was born February 14, 1938, in Martins Ferry, OH, to the late Charles and Margaret (Talarico) Yeager.</p> <p>In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of&nbsp;61 years, Richard L. Hunker Sr.</p> <p>Lorretta was a member of the Rayland Volunteer Fire Department for 27 years serving as Treasurer for 24 years. She also served 20 years as a Council Woman for the Village of Rayland, before serving as the&nbsp;first female Mayor of Rayland. Additionally, she was a lifetime member of the Ladies Auxiliary VFW, Post 4811.</p> <p>Lorretta is survived by a daughter, Brenda Staats, three sons, Rich (Roxanne) Hunker, Gary Hunker and Don (Kathy) Hunker; two brothers; five sisters; eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.</p> <p>Friends will be received to pay tribute to Lorretta and celebrate her life on Monday, April 4th, from 2-4 &amp; 6-8, and Tuesday, April 5th&nbsp;from 2-4 &amp; 6-8, at Borkoski Funeral Home, Tiltonsville, OH.</p> <p>Funeral Services will be Wednesday, April 6th, 10 am, at Borkoski Funeral Home, Tiltonsville, OH, with Pastor Jim Monogioudis officiating.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>

Lorretta J. Hunker, 84, of Rayland, OH, passed away, Thursday, March 31, 2022, at WVU Ruby Hospital, in Morgantown, WV.

Lorretta was born February 14, 1938, in Martins Ferry, OH, to the late Charles and Margaret (Talarico) Yeager.
