Mary Frances Outlaw, 83, of Lancaster, died Friday, March 25, 2022, at her home surrounded by family. <br><br>She was born July 10, 1938, in Lancaster County, a daughter of Veld Duncan Sr. and Sarah Bell Ballard. Mary was a loyal member of the Pentecostal Church of God. She was also a member of the Red Hat Society and the Eastern Star. She was a dedicated worker at Spring's Industries for 48 years.<br><br>Ms. Outlaw is survived by her daughter Robin Byrd and her husband Joe of Lancaster, SC; grandsons, Jamie Byrd of the home and Joe Byrd Jr. and his wife Ayisha of Raleigh, NC; granddaughter Zoe Byrd of Lancaster, SC; daughter Kim Hinson of Buford, SC; grandsons Wayne Hodge, Kevin Hodge, and Neil Baker; granddaughter Janet Baker; brother-in-law Gene Phillips and his wife Donna; sister-in-law Carol Nichols and her husband Charles; numerous great-grandchildren; and her dog Sam Sam.<br><br>Ms. Outlaw is preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Robert Outlaw; daughter Sharon Hinson; son Randy Baker; and grandson Randal Baker<br><br>A funeral service for Ms. Outlaw will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 27, at A Simple Service of Lancaster, officiated by Rev. Douglas Martin and Rev. Donnie Tillman. Singing will be provided by the Tillman Family.<br><br>The family will receive family and friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will be private.<br><br>The family would like to give a special thanks to Agape Care, Lyndzie, Patricia, Rhonda, Dr. Sharp, Jessie, and the many others who helped with her care.
