<p> </p> <p>Everything appeared the same today on the surface.</p> <p>The trucks in the driveway.</p> <p>The Harley in the garage.</p> <p>The water sparkling in the pool. </p> <p>Yet YOU were missing.</p> <p> </p> <p>Your laughter, your reassuring voice.</p> <p>And all who knew and loved you.</p> <p>Knew that although everything appeared the same.</p> <p>Nothing will be the same again.</p> <p> </p> <p>Everything reminds us of you.</p> <p>Music Turned up too load </p> <p>A bud light bottle</p> <p>Even an HPS truck driving down the road </p> <p>Yet......we know.... things will never be the same again. </p> <p> </p> <p>I know you're looking down on us.</p> <p>Even me... as I write this poem from the heart.</p> <p>You're saying...
