<p>Elbert Allen &ldquo;Al&rdquo; Halbert, Jr., 60, passed away on Thursday, March 24, 2022.&nbsp; Visitation will be at Breeland Funeral Home beginning at 11:00 am on Tuesday, March 29, 2022 followed by the 1:00 pm graveside service in Canton Cemetery.</p> <p>A native of Canton, Al was a graduate of Canton Academy and a U. S. Army veteran.&nbsp; He attended Grace Crossing Baptist Church.</p> <p>He was preceded in death by: father, Elbert Allen Halbert, Sr. and sister, Catherine Lynn Halbert; step-father, Herb Power.</p> <p>Survivors include: mother, Barbara Power; and aunts and uncles, Mary and John Pilcher and Sondra and David Massie; and&nbsp;Katherine Pilcher, Melissa Massie, and Amee Osbon.</p> <p>Memorials may be made to Grace Crossing Baptist of Canton or First Presbyterian Church of Canton.</p>

Elbert Allen “Al” Halbert, Jr., 60, passed away on Thursday, March 24, 2022.  Visitation will be at Breeland Funeral Home beginning at 11:00 am on Tuesday, March 29, 2022 followed by the 1:00 pm graveside service in Canton Cemetery.

A native of Canton, Al was a graduate of Canton Academy and a U. S. Army veteran.  He attended Grace Crossing Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by: father, Elbert Allen Halbert, Sr. and sister, Catherine Lynn Halbert; step-father, Herb Power.

Survivors include: mother, Barbara Power; and aunts and uncles, Mary and John Pilcher and Sondra and David Massie; and Katherine Pilcher, Melissa Massie, and Amee Osbon.

Memorials may be made to Grace Crossing Baptist of Canton or First Presbyterian Church of Canton.
