<p>Thomas Clanton &quot;Teke&quot; Gunn of Forrest, NM-- March 22, 2022--Clovis, NM</p> <p>Graveside services--10:00AM Tuesday, March 29, 2022 at Beevers Cemetery,</p> <p>3501 Quay Road AF, Melrose, NM.</p> <p>Teke was born in Clovis, NM to Jack and Naomi Gunn on July 16, 1951.</p> <p>Teke was a farmer and a rancher. He was also a past Fire Chief and member of the Forrest Fire Dept.</p> <p>When Teke said he was going to do something, you could count on it. He was a man of his word.</p> <p>Teke was known around Wheatfield&#39;s as &quot;Trouble&quot;. The &quot;girls&quot; called him &quot;Trouble&quot; because of his orneriness and teasing. He loved to tease them.</p> <p>On the day of his death, Teke accepted Jesus as his Savior. &quot;The moment we take our last breath on earth, we take our first in heaven&quot;. Billy Graham</p> <p>Luke 23:43 &quot;I assure you, today you will be with me in paradise.&quot;</p> <p>Teke--Preceded by his parents Jack and Naomi Gunn.</p> <p>Surviving Teke are his 4 siblings: sisters-- Jackie (Mike) Scott of Farmington&nbsp;NM</p> <p>and Vicki (Don) Aldridge of Brighton, CO; brothers--Don (Eyvonne) Gunn of Forrest, NM and Jimmy Gunn of Clovis. Teke is also survived by 4 nephews and 4 nieces.</p> <p>Pallbearers-- nephews and nieces</p> <p>Honorary pallbearer: Doug Screws</p> <p>In lieu of flowers, Memorials man be given to the New Mexico Baptist Children&#39;s Home, PO Box 629, Portales, NM 88130 or you favorite charity.</p>

Teke was born in Clovis, NM to Jack and Naomi Gunn on July 16, 1951.
