<p>Mrs. Landa Matthews Brown, age 81, of East Bend, passed away on Thursday March 24, 2022 at SECU Hospice in Yadkinville.</p> <p>Mrs. Brown was born on April 1, 1940 in Yadkin county to the late Dewey Matthews and Stacie Wall Matthews.</p> <p>Those left to cherish her memory are two sons Brian Brown and Lorne (Emily) Brown both of Boonville; one sister Rosa (Homer) Whelem of Jonesville; three grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.</p> <p>A celebration of life service will be held on Thursday March 31, 2022 at 1pm at Richmond Hill Baptist Church.</p>April 1, 1940 - March 24, 202204/01/194003/24/2022
