Teresa "Susy" Alfano
<p style="text-align: center;"><em><span style="font-family:georgia,serif;"><span style="font-size:16px;">Our Hearts are deeply saddened of the passing of Susy Alfano.</span></span></em></p> <p style="text-align: center;"><em><span style="font-family:georgia,serif;"><span style="font-size:16px;">Teresa Susy Alfano was born in Cosenza Italy on July 20, 1936, and sadly passed away at the age of 85 years old at the Golden General Hospital on March 21, 2022.</span></span></em></p> <p style="text-align: center;"><em><span style="font-family:georgia,serif;"><span style="font-size:16px;">Susy came to Canada back in 1973 and got married in Golden to her husband George Alfano, and was a loving mother and grandmother, & friend to many. </span></span></em><em><span style="font-family:georgia,serif;"><span style="font-size:16px;">Susy worked as a custodian at the Golden Secondary School. she was very well known in town and had so many beautiful relationships with her friends and most to even call family.</span></span></em></p> <p style="text-align: center;"><em><span style="font-family:georgia,serif;"><span style="font-size:16px;">One of her many passions was to garden and bake delicious Italian cookies. Susy won many trophies in her lifetime for bowling and crib and continued to be involved with all the ladies from the league. </span></span></em><em><span style="font-family:georgia,serif;"><span style="font-size:16px;">She devoted her time to the community and the church, and always made time for others.</span></span></em></p> <p style="text-align: center;"><em><span style="font-family:georgia,serif;"><span style="font-size:16px;">Her soul will continue living on through her adoring family and friends. We know God is pleased to have one of his kind and generous angels back in His arms, where she belongs. She will sorely be missed by those on earth.</span></span></em></p> <p style="text-align: center;"><em><span style="font-family:georgia,serif;"><span style="font-size:16px;">Susy is survived by, Gerry & Brenda Alfano, Gordon & Colleen Alfano, Gilbert Alfano, Graham and Patty Alfano & family, Carmela & Enrico Caruso, and all her nieces, nephews, and grandchildren, her sister Franca and brother Franco Polizzo.</span></span></em></p>Obituary
