Harold W. Foertsch, Sr.

<p>&nbsp;Harold Wilbert Foertsch, Sr., 83 of Butler passed away on&nbsp; Tuesday, March 22, 2022 at his home.&nbsp;<br /> &nbsp;<br /> &nbsp;Born April 27, 1938 in Natrona Heights, PA, he was the son of the late Wilbert J. Foertsch and Dorothy Leona Finley Foertsch.<br /> &nbsp;<br /> &nbsp;Harold was an iron worker,&nbsp; herdsman, school bus driver and farmer.&nbsp; &nbsp;He owned and operated Har-Lo Farms, Inc. in Jefferson Twp. Harold was a member of the Summit Presbyterian Church and the Western PA Tractor Pullers, Inc. He served the Butler Farm Show for 37 years and he spent 31 years serving on the Butler County Farm Service Agency. Harold was the recipient of the 2008 Bullshipper of the Year Award for Butler County. He enjoyed the farm show, hunting, tractor pulling, snowmobiling, raising potatoes and ATV riding.&nbsp;<br /> &nbsp;<br /> &nbsp;Surviving are his sons, Harold W. Foertsch Jr. of Butler, Robert D. (Inna Marharytova (Tsyndrik) Foertsch of Butler, James E. (Denise Smith) Foertsch of Butler, and William L. (Mandi Beck) Foertsch of Butler, his daughter, Diana M. (Donald E.) Lehnerd of Butler, 8 grandchildren, Dawn (Broc) Hepler, Christian Foertsch, Ashley (John) McDivitt, Rebecca (Carl) Frey, Krystle (Jeremiah) Glover,&nbsp; Brittany (Zach) Speer, Vladyslav Marharytov, and Alexsey Foertsch, 3 great grandchildren, Andi Foertsch, Kinzi Foertsch, and Ellie Mae Speer, his fianc&eacute;e of 15 years, Gretchen Ciccarelli and her daughter Courtney Ciccarelli of Elizabeth City, NC, brothers, Vernon C. Foertsch of Saxonburg, Errol E. Foertsch of Butler,&nbsp; Wilbert J. Foertsch of Hurricane, WV, and Garry L. Foertsch of Cabot, and sisters, Leona Wills&nbsp;of Mars, Mary Alice Shuler of Butler, and Karen O. Foertsch of Butler.</p> <p>In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Lois B. Foertsch who passed away on September 24, 2004 and sisters, Adele Foertsch, Carol Nelson, Marilyn Shuler and Dorothy Foertsch.<br /> &nbsp;<br /> &nbsp;Friends will be received on Friday, March 25, 2022 from 2-4 &amp; 6-8 pm at the Fox Funeral Home, Inc., 410 W. Main Street, Saxonburg.<br /> &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;<br /> &nbsp;Services will be held on Saturday, March 26, 2022 at 11:00 am at the funeral home with Rev. Tom Jones officiating.&nbsp;<br /> &nbsp;<br /> &nbsp;Interment will follow at the Foertsch Family Farm.<br /> &nbsp;<br /> &nbsp;Memorial donations may be made to Vitalant.&nbsp;</p> <p>A celebration of life party will be held on Sunday, April 24, 2022 from 12 pm - 5 pm at Har-Lo Farms, Inc.  Harold Wilbert Foertsch, Sr., 83 of Butler passed away on  Tuesday, March 22, 2022 at his home.

 Friends will be received on Friday, March 25, 2022 from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at the Fox Funeral Home, Inc., 410 W. Main Street, Saxonburg.
     
 Services will be held on Saturday, March 26, 2022 at 11:00 am at the funeral home with Rev. Tom Jones officiating. 
 
 Interment will follow at the Foertsch Family Farm.
 
 Memorial donations may be made to Vitalant. 

A celebration of life party will be held on Sunday, April 24, 2022 from 12 pm - 5 pm at Har-Lo Farms, Inc. Food and drinks will be provided.
