Thomas "Tommy" Lee Adams

Thomas “Tommy” Adams was a loving father, son, brother, and friend. He had a big heart and loved everyone that he kept close and those that were far, but his big heart stopped, and Tommy left this world suddenly and too soon on March 22, 2022, at age 56.

Tommy was born to Rose Colene (Reeves) Brown & Thomas Adams Sr. on November 26th, 1965. He grew up fast in Cicero, Illinois where he met and married Marlene Adams. Together they had their son, Christopher. In 1996, Tommy bought a home and moved his family to Estherville, Iowa. Here he raised his family and was blessed with Preston, his grandson. Tommy spent the rest of his life in Estherville with family and so many friends.

In 2014, at the age of 50, Tommy was surprised and excited that he was going to be a father again. He had a son and named him Bentlee, who he loved and cherished. Tommy enjoyed cars, all types of cars, and he shared his hobby with Bentlee. Their days would be filled together talking, playing, and learning all about cars. Bentlee was Tommy’s world and filled his days with happiness.

Tommy is survived by his sons, Christopher and Bentlee Adams; grandson Preston Adams; his mother Rose Colene Brown; siblings Timothy (Chantelle) Adams, Terry (Jessica) Adams, Nate (Michael Hankins) Pinnacoli, Jolinda (Christopher) Burdorf; as well as several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.

Tommy is preceded in death by his grandparents Don and Violet Reeves and his Father Shadow Brown.
