<p>Jason Dessasure, 64,&nbsp; of Ridgeland, SC passed away Saturday, March 19, 2022. Arrangements are entrusted to Allen Funeral Home and are pending at this time. Jason departed this life on March 19, 2022 at his residence with his one and only daughter, Shakithia &ldquo;Keasha&rdquo; Dessasure. Jason &ldquo;Jay&rdquo; Dessasure, 64, was born January 12, 1958, to the late Deacon Theodore Smith and Rosana D. Furman of Pineland, SC. Jay received his education in the Jasper County Public School District where he gained the knowledge of many trades. In 1977, Jay was joined in Holy Matrimony to Ella Grant Dessasure. From the union, the two was blessed with four beautiful daughters, Shakithia Dessasure Leonard, Sonja Grant, Kiana Dessasure, and Sasha Dessasure. Jay leaves his memories to be cherished by his wife, Ella Grant Dessasure, daughters, Sonja Grant, Kiana Dessasure, and Sasha Dessasure, son in law, Bryan Leonard, grandchildren, Vernon (CJ) Green Jr., Bryanna (Bry) Williams, Nevaeh (Bubby) Dessasure, Nasha (Peachy) Dessasure (Ridgeland, SC), Trent and Trayvon Leonard, great grandson, David Green, sisters, Rachel F. Harris and Tamika N. Furman (Columbia, SC), Janie Flint, (Pineland, SC) and Brenda Powell, (Cincinnati, OH), brothers, Bobby (Joanne) Furman, and Herman Dessasure, (Pineland, SC), Calvin Dessasure (Alabama), stepsisters, Zora Hazelton and Lily Ruth Mac, (Charleston, SC), stepbrothers, Harry Furman, (Furman, SC), special aunt, Lillian Brown, (Pineland, SC), aunts, Min. In the midst of life there is death. Jason departed this life on March 19, 2022 at his residence with his one and only daughter, Shakithia “Keasha” Dessasure.
