Beloved Husband, Father, Brother, Grandfather and Great Grandfather, 87

Mr. Joseph H. “Sonny” Schroek, 87, of Nutley passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 19, 2022. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 22 at the Biondi Funeral Home, 540 Franklin Avenue, Nutley, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. There will be a funeral service celebrated at the funeral home at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 23. The interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, 340 Ridge Road, North Arlington.

Sonny was born in Belleville, NJ and has resided in Nutley for over fifty years.  He was employed as a truck driver for Keebler, Moonachie for thirty four years before retiring.

He is survived by his beloved wife Beverly (nee Zbikowski) Schroeck; his loving children Kim Frank and her husband Arthur and Joseph, Gary, and Eric Schroeck; his caring sister Dolores Lamana; and his dear grandchildren Joseph, Mackenzie, Leslie, Bradley, Cooper and Austin. He is also survived by his cherished great grandchildren Juliana, Joseph John, Jr.

Sonny is predeceased by his parents Joseph and Dorothea (nee Dries) Schroeck; his siblings Robert and Daniel Schroeck and Dorothea Asher,. He is also predeceased by his daughter in law Patricia Schroeck.
